Mode is a sophisticated operator interface that is
controlled both by the computer and operator. The computer
displays a range and an arrow showing the location of the
system relative to this range. The operator has to bring the
arrow, through changing the velocity of auger lifting, to
the center of the range. The range itself is with no values
or dimensions . and the computer is constantly changing them
according to the status of the control circle and in light
of the operator actions.
At the practical level, TOMER Mode
releases the operator from the need to watch three various
indicators and make decisions at real time and under pressure
. all calculations, analysis, optimizations and decisions
are carried out automatically by the computer.
Lowering the load and level of attention enables the operator
on the one hand to produce a better pile and on the other, to
pay attention to surrounding. concrete supply pipe, cleaning
the auger, other members of the staff.... Experience shows
that TOMER Mode enables a novice
trainee operator to cast CFA piles in an easy, simple, effective,
cost efficient and most important . reliable and safe way.
